Mareflex MF01 Antispray Tapes (anti splash)
General description
The Mareflex MF-01 anti splash tape was designed with the aim of protecting pipeline installations against leakage in accordance with the latest SOLAS Consolidate Edition 2001, Regulation II-2/4.2.2.5.3 and the previous SOLAS Consolidate Edition 1997, Regulation II-2/15.2.9/.10/.11/.12 (see details). As the Type Approval Certificate states, our tape's application is screening of pipe joints and fittings for use with pipe flanges and fittings in system for fuel oil, lube oil and other flammable oils. The flammable substance once it comes into contact with a hot surface may be the cause of fires. The MF01 tape directs any potential leakage to areas where the hot substance will not be dangerous.

Antispray MF01 is available in sheet and tape format of various size, in all versions equipped with an adhesive layer to ensure easy installation.
Mareflex MF01 is the first spray preventing tape which is enhanced with a fire-retardant (self extinguishing) adhesive layer for further enhancing the safety standards. The self-adhesive layer is extremely strong and water resistant.
Advantages
- Most (if not all) of the available on the market anti splashing tapes simply meets the requirements of the latest Regulation II-2/4.2.2.5.3 of the SOLAS Consolidate Edition 2004. We've decided to go further and improve the existing safety standards.
- Because of the risk of fire caused by the leaking oil, our anti-splashing tape is additionally improved with the fire retardant (self-extinguishing) adhesive layer.
- The heavy duty, water proof adhesive layer helps you, when an installation is performed in moisture conditions.
- Thanks to the additional fiberglass mesh our tape is more flexible than standard tape and the installation process is clearly easier.

Mareflex MF01 is produced using the materials of the highest quality selected in such a way as to ensure the best protection against high pressure, high temperature while maintaining the elasticity necessary for a quick and easy installation.

Maintenance and storing
Material should be stored in a dry and cool area. It is recommended to store the rolls in the original packaging.
